The Scratch est né d’un amour commun de la guitare acoustique, du métal et de la musique traditionnelle irlandaise. Le quatuor irlandais a composé des mélodies triomphantes avec le groove et l’intensité du métal. Comme tous les grands musiciens avant-gardistes, ils retournent la musique, leur cœur et leur âme dans leur art pour forger quelque chose d’original et de nouveau.
Début 2023, The Sratch signe avec Sony Music Ireland. Les premiers fruits de ce partenariat peuvent maintenant être entendus sur “Trom II- A Slip in the Wind”, un morceau remarquable qui met magnifiquement en valeur leur son singulier. “Mind Yourself”, leur nouvel album, produit par James Vincent McMorrow, sort le 3 novembre. Et pour The Scratch, ce n’est que le début.
The Scratch a déjà partagé la scène avec Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly ou encore The Rumjacks, et sera en tête d’affiche à Paris le 3 décembre au Supersonic Records.
